Running early, so I might still have a chance to eat "lunch". Amazing how much extra time that I have without the girls, but I'd rather have them, of course.

 

Had an extra bite to eat, and I'm still running early.

 

At the Normal station waiting for the bus. I got a nasty surprise in that people taking the bus no longer get free parking. The parking people told me to move my car to a cheaper lot, but I'll still have to pay $40. I'm glad that I got here early.

 

On the bus. Dozed lightly on my way to O'Hare.

 

At the airport. They're getting really strict about only two bags, so I had to put my purse into my carry-on. I keep thinking that I left my purse somewhere. I'm glad that it fit. Grabbed a bite to eat.

 

They gate-checked my bag because it was a little too wide after I stuffed my purse in.

 

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody on the flight with the sound off. I've seen it before, so it didn't matter.

 

Found the Airbnb after a detour when I turned too soon. The San Jose curse is still on; the heat isn't working. Oh well.
