I turned on the heat. It's currently 65 F in here, and I wouldn't have turned on the heat for that temp, but it's supposed to get really cold tonight (low of 34). I wanted to turn on the heat while I was thinking about it. Took a really hot shower. Felt good. They're predicting temps in the 30s at night the rest of the week, so yeah, it's time to turn on the heat. And make tea.

 

Got going in time to relieve the front desk worker for lunch. Maintenance is using power tools outside, which is making my head ache. Yes, I know, I'm lucky to have a job.

 

The Dow is down another 546 points. As far as I'm concerned, it can keep going because there are stocks that I want to buy on discount. But it'll have a bad impact on my mom.

 

I looked into Spanish channels on my DirecTV Now streaming service, and I'd have to buy an extra package at $10/month. Not ready yet to make it worth it.

 

Someone nuked some food that smelled like it had fries in it, and now I'm craving a burger and fries. I've checked my account balance, and I can afford it, so that's what I'll do for dinner.

 

One of the part-time workers' computer spontaneously turned on without any of us being near the computer. Apparently we have a computer-literate ghost.

 

I got part of my walk in over dinner, but I had a lot of errands to run.

 

All systems are go for the free trial Spanish lesson. I just have to remember to come into work for the appointment.
