3. The Danish/American comedian and pianist, Victor Borge was born on this day in 1909. Are you familiar with his comedy style?
Yes! I saw him on a talk show when I was a kid, and he did "Phonetic Punctuation," which I thought was hilarious. I became a fan. Then my mom and I saw him at Ravinia when I was a teenager. He came there with an opera singer. He was clowning around for a while, but then he let the opera singer sing, and she sounded so beautiful, a living voice under the stars.
